BD Inventions ISO 9001 statement

Instrument method references

These are method references published by BD Inventions. They are distinct from a quality management certificate. Confirm the applicable procedure, edition and supplied configuration against your laboratory requirements.

Accuracy, resolution and precision

Accuracy describes agreement with the reference value; resolution describes the smallest displayed increment. Repeatability describes consistency across repeated measurements under the same conditions. These figures should be considered separately when comparing instruments.

For the FOGII, FOGII Plus and FOGL soil calcimeters, BD Inventions lists 0.5% CaCO₃ accuracy and an approximate analysis time of 30 seconds. FOGL has a 0.01% display resolution; the portable FOGII instruments have 0.1% resolution.

For GHFM-22, the manufacturer lists 5% accuracy and 2% repeatability. For THW-01LNG, it lists 1% accuracy and 0.5% repeatability. Performance is model- and configuration-specific; discuss calibration, preparation and operating conditions in your enquiry.

The stated instrument analysis time does not include every preparation or handling step. For our customer-sample service, reporting requirements and turnaround are agreed in your quotation.
